Guidelines and Policies
- You can drop off items for sale without an appointment during our opening hours. However, if you wish to bring a larger quantity of items, please contact us in advance to arrange a suitable time.
- If bringing items in person is not an option, you can request a shipping label to send your items to us, provided they meet our quality standards.
- Please review our guidelines to ensure your items meet our quality standards.
Accepted Clothing and Other Items
- We accept branded clothing in sizes 50 to 152 and shoes from 0 to 12 years.
- Besides clothing, we also accept unique, high-quality non-clothing items such as small wooden toys, beautiful children's books or other nursery items.
-Items from ultra-fast fashion brands are not accepted.
- Suspected counterfeit products will not be selected for sale.
Clothing Condition
- All clothing must be recently washed, with no stains, holes or visible damage.
- Even items from the favourite brands won’t sell if they are stained or damaged, so please check thoroughly before bringing them in.
- We don’t accept old clothes that have been stored for a long time.
- Items that are more than 4-5 years old typically do not sell.
Seasonal Clothing Intake
- Spring clothing: February to April
- Summer clothing: May to July
- Fall clothing: August to September
-Winter clothing: October to January
Item Selection and Pricing
- ZIGGY + LUCY determines which items will be accepted for sale.
- ZIGGY + LUCY sets the selling price of each item and reserves the right to adjust this price at any time (with a maximum reduction of 50%).
- During the preparation for sale, garments will be ironed and in some cases repaired to ensure they meet our presentation standards. However, if any damage or dirt is discovered during this process, the item will not be placed in the shop or will not be available online, even if it was initially accepted for sale.
Sales Period and Earnings
- Items will be displayed in the store or will be available online for approximately 12 weeks.
- As a consignor, you will receive 40% of the sale price of your item. Your earnings are automatically paid out every two months.
- ZIGGY + LUCY reserves the right to keep certain items longer than the standard 12-week period.
Unsold Items
- Items not sold within the 12-week period will be donated to charity unless collected within three weeks.
- If you wish to collect unsold items, please inform us in advance.
- Unaccepted or uncollected items will be held for up to three weeks before being donated.
- Any item that is found to be dirty or damaged after intake will be donated without further notice.
Payment and Account Credit
- Earnings can only be paid via bank transfer.
- Payments at ZIGGY + LUCY are accepted via debit card only and major credit cards.
- Gift cards are valid for one year.
Returns and Exchanges
- We offer a 14-day return policy for online and in-store purchases.
- All items must be returned in original condition and with hangtags, handled with care. - We're not responsible for damages or loss during return shipment.
- Second-hand toys, books, gift vouchers and other non-clothing items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Liability
- ZIGGY + LUCY is not responsible for lost items, theft, fire, or water damage.
- We do our utmost to handle everything with care.
- No rights can be derived from these terms and conditions.
- By submitting items, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
